Now you guys know this is the trickiest weekend to pick games. Upset Special is what I like to call Weeks 1 and 2. I usually SUCK during this week, but it's still fun in seeing what you can get right. So here goes nothing. Week 1 picks for the Inaugural NFL Weekend:

Miami at (-4) Atlanta- *UPSET ALERT* I'm picking the Dolphins. Why? Because I can! And because they have a better defense than ATL

Kansas City at (-12.5) Baltimore- Ummm, y'all already know... My boys, the Ravens get the head nod on this one. That point spread is kinda high for a team that doesn't put up points, but KC is rebuilding. I'll take it.

(-2.5) Philly at Carolina- I can't really decide on who I think will win, it's evenly matched to me. So I'm gonna pick Carolina because they are at home and their colors are prettier. I have girl football moments sometimes

Denver at (14) Cincinnati- Picking the Bengals, they are ready to start winning some games and the Broncos are too dysfunctional for me to pick them today.

(-4) Minnesota at Cleveland- This point spread should be higher. Minnesota is gonna beat the brakes off of Cleveland

NY Jets at (-4.5) Houston- Picking Houston but I'm not confident in this pick. I smell an upset here. But I don't have the balls to go against it.

Jacksonville at (-7) Indianapolis- *UPSET ALERT 2* I smell an upset. Jax is Indy's division rival so anything can happen. I'm picking the Jags to beat the Colts simply because this is the most people they will see in a stadium this season (since they can't sell their own games out) and they won't know how to act!

Detroit at (-13) New Orleans- Ummm... yeah.. I expect a rout of the Lions, sorry.... no explanation needed here

Dallas (-6) at Tampa Bay- Dallas. The Bucs are a big enigma to me, I dunno what their philosophy is

San Fran at (-6.5) Arizona- *UPSET ALERT 3* Pound that Rock! Pound that Rock! Pound that Rock! Picking the 49ers.

Washington at (-6.5) NY Giants- Similar built teams, division rivals. I'm picking the Giants, because at least they can't throw Campbell under the bus if things go wrong

St. Louis at (-8) Seattle- Seahawks. They're the better squad.

Chicago at (-3.5) Green Bay- *UPSET ALERT 4* I want to pick GB soooo bad. I like everything about them. But Chicago plays them hard every year. And as much as I cannot stand that diva Cutler, he out smarts the Packers D in a close one

Buffalo at (-11) New England- NE, because Brady at least had an offensive line to give him time to throw. T.O.'s destruction watch will activate in 4...3...2.....

(-9.5) San Diego at Oakland- *UPSET AL.......... okay I'm lying* This game has every reason to be an upset special. The Merriman distraction and the Chargers slow start in the past. But Oakland hasn't beat SD in the last 11 attempts. Rivers gotta money in the bank now, LT looks to come back, life is good for the Chargers. Sorry Raiders fans, maybe I can pick you next week, I can see bright things for you... just not on Monday night
