"I know hands-down I'd be close to Jerry Rice's records if I had been with quality quarterbacks like he had.He had Joe Montana and he finished with Steve Young. That wasn't a dropoff. "Say I had been with a guy like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Drew Brees all of my career. Are you kidding me?" Are YOU kidding ME?! This is the same guy who had Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb and Tony Romo as the guys throwing to him during his career. I'm not gonna even count Steve Young, but if you want to add him for general purposes, bring him in the convo too. Garcia and McNabb were Pro Bowl caliber players when Owens played for them. While Romo was just starting to progress, Owens still caught over 3,000 yards and 36 TDs while in Dallas. Remember, this is the same guy that blocked a trade to Baltimore, because Kyle Boller was the QB. Not that I blame him- Boller was pretty bad- but to say the other QBs he's played for affected his career numbers is pretty laughable to me. Owens is crying again...... I guess we having given him any attention since he played on the lowly Bills last season. This is the time when Kita and Mo (his publicists) need to step in and tell him to STFU. With the QBs he's managed to have, he's 3rd All-Time in receiving yards as well as TDs. Clearly his career numbers can't be THAT bad if he's right up there with Rice. Nothing wrong with shooting for the moon, but to throw your players under the bus is classless. Terrell Owens, Sitchoazz Down!
I've never been a big Terrell Owens fan, until I started watching the T.O. Show. I always perceived Owens to be a egotistical maniac who never accepts responsibility and causes nothing but trouble. However, watching his show made me see why he was the way he was and for that, I became sympathetic and even started to like him a little. But not anymore.
Regarding how he thought his career should have gone, Owens told USA Today in an interview:
