NFL Tuesday Round-Up

Last night's game between the Saints and 49ers was a great MNF game (Baltimore/NY Jets, are you reading this?!). That's what fans expect for a MNF game. Excitement, nail biting and good football. But last's night's game didn't come without injury. Saints RB Reggie Bush is expected to be out at least 6 weeks with a fractured fibula in his right leg.

MRI tests will be done today to confirm the injury. Keep ya head up, Reggie!

-Even being 0-2, I still expect the 49ers to win the division. Alex Smith grew up last night, something we expected to see from him 5 years ago, coming out of the draft. I guess it's better late then never. I added Smith in my Top 20 QB list for 2010, so he better not make a fool out of me!

-Braylon Edwards was arrested for a DWI charge last night. According to the NY Post, here's the skinny:

Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards was busted on a drunken driving charge early this morning, after cops pulled him over on the West Side and found he had double the legal limit of alcohol in his system, police said.

Braylon Edwards

Edwards, 27, was arrested at 5:15 a.m. and charged with DWI, after cops pulled over his Range Rover at 34th Street and 12th Avenue for having overly-tinted windows. Police said they smelled alcohol and Edwards blew a 0.16 on a Breathalyzer, or double the state's legal limit of 0.08.

I guess Braylon was still teaching folks how to dougie like the day before in the Pats game. Except this time there was liquor.. and maybe girls... and with a car..... Just look at this mugshot, courtesy of WPIX in NY:

Looking like a bad Rick Ross impersonator. Go sitcho azz down, Braylon. And take that beard with you!

-In other news, Kurt Warner made his appearance on Dancing With The Stars. He and dance partner Anna Trebunskaya came out swinging, doing the Viennese Waltz to start the season. If Warner can waltz NEARLY as good as he can Walk It Out, than he should be a Top 3 dancer when it's all said and done!
